Mr. Parmenter started the Cider Mill in 1873. This is our 147th year!
The original building burned down many, many years ago but was rebuilt into what you visit today. The Mill has only been owned my three families since it's origination. The Parmenter's, the Bodker's and the Jones'/Nelson's. It has now been in the Nelson Family since 1991.
Owners, Robb and Carina Nelson, plan to run the mill for decades to come with their sons...Nashua, Neville, Quillan and Bonham.
Our APPLES come from a farm on the West side of Michigan. We press several times a week to ensure we have the freshest cider for our customers. Our cider is usually a blend of apples to perfect that crisp bite. Cider starts off more tart and ends the season sweet.
Our DONUTS are made fresh every day. We serve a PLAIN vanilla cake donut and our famous SPICED cake donut tossed in our custom fine cinnamon sugar blend. Our donuts are served room temperature by the dozen or half dozen.
